Brooklyn-based Baauer seesaws between a beat-sprinkled verse that's true to the original and a brand new chopped and screwed vowel-clung melody. I love the transition between genres, but what I like most about the song is the way it redrafts my view of the song structure; the part I want to sing-a-long to most doesn't have any words.  

Also worth checking is First Aid Kit's majestic performance on NPR's Tiny Desk concert series.  My favorite tune is 'The Lion's Roar.
